Best Practices to Save our Planet Earth
· Save Electric Consumption: turn off light/Fan/TV/AC, if leaving room.
· Use fans instead of air conditioners.
· If feeling cold in winter, wear a sweater or take help of blanket instead of turning on your room heater or thermostat.
· Unplug electric application not in use.
· Use rechargeable batteries.
· Use Fluorescents instead of bulbs.
· Save Gas/Heating oil consumption.
· Reuse/Recycle as much as you can.
· Use recycled paper and/or recycles it. Reuse old papers. Because It costs trees.
· Minimize Uses of cars: give rest car twice a week (Saturday, Monday).
· Maximize Walk, ride public transport or rickshaw.
· Maintain proper air pressure in tyres. (Saves oil).
· Minimize Use of Washing machine & Dishwasher (Run at full load).
· Minimize Shower Length and temp of water. Saves Water & Electricity.
· Plant trees as much as we can.
· Get other people to help you in your cause. Make and/or join an organization.
